Rooted in Razzleberry

I've been playing with the Rooted in Nature stamp set and looking for some fun ways to use it.  I found this idea from multiple demonstrators, including Dawn Olchefske and Mo Rootes.  I had to try it!  I love using different sponging techniques like this.

Start with a Thick White base 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2"
Add a layer of Whisper White 3 3/4" x 5"
I made a template the same size and then cut a rectangle:
3/4" from right, 2" over and 1/2" from the top and bottom
lay the template over your card front and using a sponge and Rich Razzleberry ink, sponge the empty space, focusing most of the ink a the bottom for the darker shade.
To blend it a bit, after sponging ink on, I rubbed in circles from bottom to top.
Stamp the tree and sentiment in Early Espresso ink
The sentiment piece is 4" x 3/8"
Layered on Rich Razzleberry 4" x 1/2"
