Kindness and shaving cream

This is my favorite card of the week!  It's so simple and fun!  So messy and crooked and I completely planned it that way!  I am again using items that are going away.  Man, we are going to fall in love before they go.

Leaving: Sweet Sugarplum, Archival Gray, Archival Black, One Big Meaning Stamp Set

  • Sweet Sugarplum 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2"
  • Basic Gray 3 3/4" x 5"
  • Whisper White 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
  • Sweet Sugarplum strip 1 1/2" x 4"
  • Whisper White strip 1 1/4" x 4"
Assembly:
  • Whisper White- this is the shaving cream technique!  So fun!
    • Put shaving cream on a flat surface (that can be cleaned! I used a throw away cookie pan), add a few drops of reinker- whatever colors you want to work with.
    • Take your cardstock piece and push it into the shaving cream, then lift if off
    • Place the shaving cream covered cardstock in a cake pan (again, I used throwaway) and scrape off the shaving cream (I used an old gift card for this)
    • Voila!  If you love it, let it dry.  If it needs more spunk, dip & scrape it again!
  • Stamp the sentiment crooked on the Whisper White strip and attach to the Sweet Sugarplum strip, then attach to the dried shaving cream/gray layers using dimensionals & trim the edges off.
