Little Bear

I have a friend who is about to have a baby any day now.  She is having a girl, but it reminded me that I made this card a few months ago, and I never shared it!  It's so cute, it just has to be shared.  Then I will get back to the Stampin' Sisters Retreat projects :)

  • Crumb Cake base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
    • Use the layering circles to cut out the circle in the front
    • Use the same size plus one bigger to create the Soft Sky circle frame for the hole.
  • Add a layer of Soft Sky-- run through the Hexagon Embossing Folder
  • Add a layer of white- with the smaller circle cut from it
    • stamp the flowers and bees and color them in.
  • Stamp the bear in Memento ink and color in using your favorite coloring tools (markers, blendabilities, blender pens, watercolor pencils)
    • cut it out using the coordinating framelits
    • Fold it in half and attach it to the inside of the circle. 
  • Stamp a bee hive and a few bees inside.
  • Finish it off with the two circles "hello there honey bear" and a twine bow.
