Yesterday I shared a card using the "let it snow" stamp from the Merry Little Labels stamp set. Today I am sharing that same stamp on a box to see a whole new look for this little guy!
Featured Product:
Merry Little Labels Stamp Set
For the Box:
- For the bottom of the box, start with a piece of 8" x 8" cardstock- in this case Crumb Cake and score it at 2" on all sides
- For the top of the box, start with a piece of 7" x 7" cardstock- in this case Old Olive and score it at 1 1/2" on all sides
- Stamp the top and bottom with White Snowflakes using the Carols of Christmas stamp set
- This diagram shows you where you need to snip from the edge to the score line to be able to turn it into a box.
Make it pretty
Now for the fun part! Let's make it pretty!
- Cut a 2" strip of Merry Music Specialty Paper
- Cut a 1 3/4" strip of the tree pattern in Merry Little Christmas DSP
- Sponge a little Old Olive on the tree strip
- Adhere the two strips to each other and wrap them around the box and adhere so that it can slip off like a belly band
- Wrap a piece of 7/8" Striped ribbon around the other direction & add a box- again easy to slip off.
- Add a Green Sprig and a Mini Ornament
- Stamp the "let it snow" label in Old Olive ink on a piece of Whisper White and punch out using the Everyday Label Punch
- Attach it with a piece of black twine.
