I posted a card earlier this week with Fresh Fig and this same kind of fold. It's a very fun fold and very easy to do.
Featured Product
COPPER!
Copper Trim
Copper Embossing Powder
Copper Foil
Fresh Fig
- 8 1/2" x 4 1/4", score at 5 1/2"
- 3 1/8" x 3 1/8"
Very Vanilla
- 4" x 5 1/4"
Pear Pizzazz
- 3 3/8" x 3 3/8"
Wood Textures DSP
- 3" x 3" square
Copper Foil
- 1" x 5 1/4"- punch using the Triple Banner Punch
- Stamp the flowers from Wood Words on two corners of the Wood Textures DSP in Versamark ink and heat emboss with Copper Embossing Powder
- Color in the flowers and leaves using a blender pen and ink pads (Pear Pizzazz & Fresh Fig)
- Add "hello friend" in Fresh Fig ink
- Attach the Very Vanilla layer to the inside of the Fresh Fig base
- Attach the Pear Pizzazz square to the front fold layer... be sure to ONLY put adhesive on the side you are attaching to the Fresh Fig, NOT the Very Vanilla or you will seal your card shut.
- Attach the Copper Foil banner next, again, be sure not to put adhesive where it will touch the Very Vanilla inside.
- Attach the Wood Textures DSP layer to the Fresh Fig square.
- Add the Copper Trim to this layer before you attach it
- Now attach your final square on top of the Pear Pizzazz/Copper Foil layer.
Can you believe there are no dimensionals on this card?! Crazy, I know but a stunning card none the less. And if you really wanted you could certainly add a layer of dimensionals in here.
An upclose view of the embossed portion. Love the way heat embossing makes project look.
