Prep the card:

Stamp Sets: Just Add Text & Daisy Delight

Daffodil Delight

• 9 5/8" x 4 1/4" base, score at 5 1/2"
• 1 1/8" x 9 1/2" strip, score at 5 1/2"
• 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" -- cut out using Stitched Shapes (approx 3 1/4" wide oval)
• 3" x 2" -- cut out using Layering Ovals (approx 2 3/4" wide oval)

Night of Navy

• 5/8" x 3 3/4" strip
• 4" x 4" square
• 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" -- cut out using Lovely Words Thinlits
• 4" x 2 3/4" -- cut out using Layering Ovals (approx 3 1/2" wide scalloped oval)

Whisper White

• 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" -- cut out using Layering Ovals (approx 3" wide oval)
• 3" x 2" -- cut out using Layering Ovals (approx 2 1/2" wide oval)
• 4" x 4" square for inside

Delightful Daisy DSP

• 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" square

Ribbon

• 3 3/4" strip of 1/4" Double Stitched Ribbon, Daffodil Delight

Main Front Ovals & Base prep

Stamp & Assemble:

I'm giving you both directions at once today because of the many steps of this card. 

• Start by layering your ovals.
• Night of Navy Scalloped oval
• Daffodil Delight Stitched oval
• Attach your Night of Navy friend oval to your Whisper White oval. 
• Stamp 2 flowers in Daffodil Delight at the top and bottom of the White Oval
• Continue layering
• Attach the Whisper White/Friend oval to the oval stack you started already.

Set this piece aside and move onto the base of the card.

• Fold your Daffodil Delight card base and strip.
• Attach the strip to your card base: Remember how you scored each of these pieces at 5 1/2"?  Well, now you're going to match up the 5 1/2" pieces so that the smaller fold of the card base is the front left and the smaller strip sticks out on the right and folds over the front. This is going to make it look like a tri-fold of sorts.
• Finish getting your strip ready... Attach the Daffodil Delight Ribbon to your Night of Navy 5/8" strip and then attach this to the front strip of your card.

Onto the next step-- do not attach your ovals yet!

Front Fold

Stamp & Assemble:

These are the instructions for the left flap and attaching the oval layers you created in the last step.

• Attach your Night of Navy square to your front left flap
• Attach your DSP next
• Now stamp your Whisper White oval... stamp your sentiment in Night of Navy ink and your flowers again in Daffodil Delight ink.
• Attach this piece to your scalloped Daffodil Delight oval.
• Attach this to your card front in about the center.
• NOW grab that oval stack you already made, close the strip and attach it, making sure it covers your secret message.

Inside

One last step.

• On your Whisper White square, stamp 2 Daffodil Delight flowers in opposite corners and attach so that it sits as a writing layer underneath the square part of your card front. 

Now grab an envelope, stamp and send this to a friend to let them know you care!
