Tie dye Dragonfly

These dragonflies have been a big hit.  I am not much of a bug person but I do like what people have been creating with them.  This was a swap I received from another demonstrator.  A pretty easy card with a fun look to the dragonflies.

Featured Stamp Set: Dragonfly Dreams

The card base is Mint Macaron (a retiring color!)
Add a layer of Whisper White.  Run this layer through your Big Shot using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.
Sponge the edges and lower half with Mint Macaron ink.
Add a Tip Top Taupe ribbon and attach this layer to the base.
Next, cut a Whisper White banner and stamp your sentiment and again sponge the edges.
Attach this to your card front.

Now on to the dragonflies... this is pretty neat the way the coloring is.  How did she do it?  Markers!
Take your markers and color directly on the stamp.  Fill in the color where you want it and then stamp.  (You may need to give it a little "p-huff" of air- give it a good "hhhuuuhhh"- your warm breath with keep the ink wet before you stamp!)
Stamp 2 of them and then cut them out using the Detailed Dragonfly Framelits
Attach them to your card with dimensionals.
