I made this frame a few months ago for a demonstrator event. I completely forgot to share it! It was so much fun to make! Sadly, all of these items are retiring!
Featured Items: Nailed it and Build it Framelits
I started with an 8x8 square frame from Michaels. I actually did all of my stamping on the mat itself.
On the mat I stamped the saws and hammers with Momento ink. Then I colored in the hammer handles with a blender pen and Basic Gray ink, the hammer heads with Smoky Slate ink and the saw handles with Delightful Dijon ink.
Stamp the screwdrivers and wrenches in Smoky Slate ink.
Go back through and fill in the spaces with the smudges from Gorgeous grunge using Delightful Dijon ink.
Under the mat I added a chalkboard piece of DSP from the Urban Underground DSP.
On the top right corner, add a square of Basic Black and a layer of Delightful Dijon.
Stamp a saw in Momento ink on Basic Gray cardstock and cut out using the framelit.
Attach it to the square.
Add the sentiment in Delightful Dijon ink and cut it out with the label framelit. Layer this on a piece of Basic Gray and cut by hand to match your Whisper white piece.
Attach this with dimensionals and get ready to gift it!
