Gifts of Thanks

As I have mentioned before, I am an Elementary Music Teacher.  This time of year is always very busy for me.  Friday we had our Spring Sing.  A concert of Kindergarten through 5th grade.  350 students.  It was an incredible event and I couldn't do it without the help of my husband and boys, nor without the help of my teachers and staff.  As a Thank you, I found these fun Record coasters and made my own record sleeve.

I made great use of many retiring products for this project.  I made a total of 40 of these fun sleeves.

This was a quick pic showing each of the designs I created all together.

The base of the sleeve was 5 1/4 x 9, scored at 4 1/2.
I used tear and tape to attach the 2 sides.
Next, I punched a circle for gripping.

Add a 1 1/2 x 12 strip of DSP.  Cover the seam with different elements.  This one I added a circle of Daffodil Delight and a Very Vanilla stitched circle.
Stamp on the stitched circle and attach with dimensionals.

Here it is with the fun Record Coaster inside.

Cucumber Crush set.

Urban Underground Set.

Watermelon Wonder Set.

Falling in Love Set. With Lace Doilies.

Here was a my photo box of 40 record sleeves and coasters.  They were a big hit!
