Yummy Monster

Project 6 is too cute to share all at once, so you're going to get these 4 in 4 separate posts.  So much fun!  Today's is a Treat box/Gift card holder!  I think of the 4, this is my favorite!  It was easy to make once we got going and it's a great idea for kids or adults!  I can already picture this one at Christmas time or the end of the school year as a gift for my kid's teachers.

Featured Stamp Set: Yummy in my Tummy & Balloon Adventures

The box was a hand cut template.  It was created using Pacific Point cardstock for the base.
We started by assembling the box.  I recommend either Tear & Tape or Fast Fuse when putting boxes together.
For the front layer, start with Tangerine Tango Cardstock and add a layer of Party Animal DSP.
Stamp the monster in Momento or Archival Black ink and fussy cut him out.
Stamp "Yummy in my tummy" in the same ink on a whisper white scrap and punch out using the 1 1/2 inch circle punch.  Attach it to the monster's tummy using dimensionals.
Attach the monster using dimensionals.

For the inner "card" layers...
For the right side, start with a square of Whisper White cardstock and add a strips of 1/2 inch Party Animal DSP to the top and bottom.  Stamp the sentiment in the center using Pacific Point Ink.  Attach it flat to the box.
For the left side, attach Party Animal DSP to your piece of Tangerine Tango and then punch out half of a 1 1/2 inch circle.  Attach this to the left side but only add Tear & Tape or Fast Fuse to the bottom and sides, this will allow room for you to slide a gift card into this part.

Add a treat to the box part and you're ready to gift!
