Project 4: Mini Scrapbook

Project 4 of the Stampin' Sister's Retreat was a mini scrapbook.   It's wallet size and would make a great gift to a new mom or grandparent!  Folds up nice and small and fits a good amount of pictures!

This is the front of the scrapbook.  We used the Tasty Treats DSP for the flap, attached to Crumb Cake cardstock.

For the closure, we stamped the "hippie chick" in Momento ink on a Stitched Circle, cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Add your "hey chick" in Momento ink.

Color in the chick using Watercolor Pencils  and use a Blender Pen to blend the pencil color together.   

When you attach the chick, be sure to only put dimensionals on the bottom of the stitched circle, not the top or you will seal it closed forever.  Use the chick as a holder/closure for your main tab.

Here is the first layer of the scrapbook.  Add Crumb Cake cardstock to each panel.  Cut 2 more stitched circles using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Stamp your chick, egg and phrase using Momento ink.  Color them in using the Watercolor Pencils and use a Blender pen to blend the color. Attach the circles to your pages using dimensionals.

The final piece is the scrapbook completely unfolded.  This part is super easy.  Attach your tasty Treats DSP  pieces to your Crumb Cake cardstock layers and then attach them to your Pool Party base.  I missed pics of the flaps at the top.  Besides the main flap, there are two more flaps- same process... attach DSP to the Crumb Cake and then to the base. 

Fold it up, tuck the flap behind the hippie chick and you're all set!
