Project 1, Part 1

Today's post is Project 1 from the Stampin' Sister's Retreat.  I am only posting 3 of the 6 cards today.  The rest will post tomorrow.

Featured Color Combo: Night of Navy & Watermelon Wonder

This card has a Night of Navy base with a whisper white base and a Carried Away DSP. 

Add a 2 inch banner, punched with the Triple Banner Punch.  

Stamp the balloon from Lift Me Up Stamp Set in Night of Navy ink.

Stamp the banner, tassels & words from Any Occasions in Night of Navy ink.

Attach the banner with dimensionals.

This card base is Night of Navy with a layer of Whisper White and Watermelon Wonder.
Run the Watermelon Wonder through the Seaside Embossing Folder.
Add three small banners- one in each color, 1 inch, 3/4 inch and 1/2 inch long.  Snip with scissors.
Add a 2 1/4 x 2 3/4 night of navy cardstock, and a 2 1/2 x 2 whisper white,
On the whisper white stamp three banners and then add the flags hanging down  and the words- alternate colors: Night of Navy & Watermelon Wonder.
Attach this to your card.
(No dimensionals... can you believe it!)

I love this card.  It makes me think of my youngest son.  He loves baseball and this card with the stitched edge looks a lot like a baseball card.

The base is Smoky Slate with layers of Night of Navy and Whisper White.

Run the Whisper white through the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.

Add a piece of Smoky Slate DSP.

Cut a circle from Night of Navy using the Layering Circles Framelits.

Cut a stitched circle from Whisper White using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Stamp a banner and flags from Any Occassion and fill them in with the coordinating thank you. 

Put your two circles together and attach them to your card using dimensionals.
