The next part of Project 6 is this gift card holder card. It features the stamp set Beautiful You.
Featured Color: Peekaboo Peach
(Keep in mind this is the final step- you would begin with the inside of the card when creating)
For the outside, we added layers of Basic Black and Cupcakes & Carousels DSP and a little bit of Peekaboo Peach Ribbon.
Cut a Peekaboo Peach scalloped oval using the Layering Ovals. Then cut a Whisper White oval using the same framelits. Stamp the woman in Archival Black ink on the Whisper White hand assemble. Be careful when you stick the basic black square on, as you'll only want to put adhesive on the side you are attaching to the left front side of the card.
For the inside... step 1 (of the entire card), is to punch the hole for your gift card using the Classic Label Punch. You'll need to punch and slide a bit and punch again to get a big enough hole for the card. Attach it to your base by folding it to the inside and using dimensionals but only on the outer end gets- if you seal the whole thing down, you won't be able to fit a card.
Add a piece of basic black cardstock to your main base, attach the Whisper White and DSP pieces leaving a nice black divider.
Cut another small scalloped oval, this time from basic black. Stamp your sentiment on whisper white and cut out using the framelits again. Attach the two to each other and attach to your card using dimensionals. This is your closure. You'll tuck the front black square behind this scalloped oval to hold your card closed.
