Flying High

A new kind of Birthday balloon... it's that crazy hot air balloon set again Lift Me Up.

I've never been in a hot air balloon before, I'm not sure I could do it.  Not afraid of heights or anything... just not my cup of tea.  Works great for this cute birthday card though!

Featured Stamp Set: Lift Me Up

Start this card with a Smoky Slate base, 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score at 4 1/4.

Add a layer of Night of Navy 3 3/8 x 4 5/8, Whisper White 4 3/8 x 3 1/8 and finally a layer of Carried Away DSP (Sale-a-Bration item!) 3 x 4 1/4.

Next, Cut 2 Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper clouds using the coordinating Up & Away Thinlits.  Attach them using dimensionals.

Cut out a 2 1/4 in circle using your Layering Circle Dies, as well as a banner 1 x 3 from Smoky Slate cardstock.

On the banner, stamp your sentiment in Nigh of Navy Ink.  Attach to your card.

Cut a whisper white 1 7/8 circle using your Stitched Shapes and stamp a balloon in Night of Navy ink.  Attach this to your Smoky Slate circle.  Attach both circles to the card center using dimensionals.

Now you're up, up and away with your birthday card :). Ready to pop in the mail!
