I was given a small packet of supplies to use to create a 4 project challenge. These are 2 of the projects I came up with.
Featured Stamp Set: Jar of Love
Featured Accessory: Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack
For the card I used a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Whisper White Cardstock, scored at 2 1/8 from each side.
I added Real Red strips of cardstock 1 7/8 X 5 1/4.
Next I added a layer of the new Sending Love DSP Stack, the same design on each side 1 3/4 X 5 1/8.
The top layer begins with a Read Red piece, measuring 3 X 2 1/4.
I added a layer of Sending Love DSP Stack , measuring 2 7/8 X 2 1/8.
Before attaching to the card, I added a piece of the whisper white dainty grosgrain ribbon (Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack) and included a "cheater" bow.
Next, I stamped "Love" in Real Red ink and punched out using our Heart Punch.
I attached the heart with a dimensional.
I added the entire top layer to the left side flap using fast fuse.
For the treatholder:
I started with a 2 X 8 cellophane bag.
I filled it with 5 dove dark chocolates (they're in red packaging) and taped it shut on the backside.
I used 1 1/4 inch strips of Real Red cardstock to wrap around the package the long way.
I added a layer of Sending Love DSP Stack , 1 inch wide. I did have to piece a few together to wrap all the way around, but you'll be able to hide the seams.
Next I wrapped a piece of Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack, Real Red, around a few times and tied in a knot.
Next, punch out a real red circle using the 1 3/4 circle punch.
Add a 1 1/2 circle punch, of the DSP.
Stamp "love" from Jar of Love and "you" from Endless Thanks Stamp Set.
Punch this out using the heart punch.
Attach the layers of circles with adhesive and the heart with dimensionals.
Attach the whole piece using dimensionals.
