I love the 2-toned look of this card! I suppose it's more feminine than masculine but it sets itself up very well for being a manly card. Maybe just swap out the Watermelon for a more guyish color. Either way I love that the whole card is 2-toned.
And check out those candles! So much fun! Check out the details below.
Featured Stamp set: Window Shopping (pg. 43-Occasions)
The base is Smoky Slate-- 5 1/2 X 8, score at 4 1/4
Add a 1 inch strip of Carried Away DSP from the Sale-a-brat ion catalog to the inside right edge.
On the front...
Layers of Watermelon Wonder 3 X 5 1/4 and Whisper White 2 3/4 X 5.
Use Watermelon Wonder and Smoky Slate markers to color in the "Happy Birthday" and stamp on the bottom of the white.
Assemble the layers this far and attach a banner made from the Neutrals DSP Stack.
Finish it off with a Watermelon Wonder square cut using Stitched Shapes.
Next, take a 1 3/4 square and punch out the candles using the Candle Border Punch.
Attach a piece of Crushed Curry behind the flames and attach it to your stitched square.
Attach it to your card front using dimensionals- be careful not to accidentally attach it to the flap where the card opens.
