Cookie Day

I took a little break from stamping this weekend, to hang out with my boys and my husband.

For many years now, there's been a traditional cookie baking day.  I always made cookies with my parents growing up.  At some point, my cousin and I started going to our uncle's to bake cookies for him with our Grandma. It was always a blast.  Even when I was across the United States and coudln't participate, I would bake cookies and give them a call so I could still be a part of it.  Sadly, he passed away a few years ago and my Grandma a year ago, but our tradition continues.  My cousin and I weren't able to get together again this year, but I jump started the tradition with my own boys and we baked our hearts out anyway today!

Without a doubt , we do not need all of these cookies.  Some will be eaten.  Some will be gifted.  All will be enjoyed.
