Tear it Open

After a few months of "wasting" washi tape I have fallen in love.  I designed this card entirely around the washi tape.

Featured Stamp Set: Tin of Tags  & Cookie Cutter Halloween

I used one of Stampin' up's pre-cut notecards with envelope.

I added layers of Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black and Whisper White.

I put one strip of each of the Halloween Night Washi Tape across the whisper white layer.

Next, I cut and punched a banner using the Triple Banner Punch.

I stamped the mummy in Archival black ink and used a blender pen to "dirty" him up a bit.

I then punched it out with the Cookie Builder Punch. 

I added the sentiment from Tin of Tags by covering the part I didn't want with washi tape, inking it up in Old Olive ink and then peeling off the washi tape before stamping.  I then cut it wish scissors as a little banner and attached it to a piece of Perfect Plum which I also then cut with scissors to create a banner.  I attached this to the mummy.

To finish it off, I added a piece of the Halloween Bakers Twine and Enamel Dots.
