This little creation was inspired by Erica Cerwin. I purchased one of her tutorials and played around with it to make it my own using the supplies I had in my collection. This was my swap for the Shoebox swap during our girls weekend a few weeks ago. This photo is a bit deceiving. It looks a bit like a card but it's actually a cute treat holder. It holds 3 fun size candy bars.
Featured Stamp Set: Cookie Cutter Halloween
The box base is Pumpkin Pie.
I used my Halloween Night DSP for the brick look and the stripes.
I added a Basic Black bellyband and tied some Halloween Bakers Twine around a few times.
For the accent piece, I punched a 2 inch circle from the Pumpkin Pie Glitter Paper and attached it with dimensionals.
I stamped my mummy (just like yesterday... I must love this little guy) in Momento Black ink and then used a blender pen to spread the ink around and "dirty" him up.
Next, punch out the mummy with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.
I stamped the treat bag and used my blender pen to fill in the bag, but then used Stampin' Up markers to colore the pumpkin and candy. I used Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight. This piece I had to cut out by hand, which was actually really easy.
I attached my mummy and treat bag with dimensionals, filled with treats and it was all ready to go!
Happy Treating!
