Halloween Placecards

I am a music teacher.  I love my school.  As a staff we do what we can to keep each other going and motivated.  This year I signed up to decorate and bring treats into the lounge for the month of October.  As I got things ready this morning I remembered we have a few members who can't have certain foods.  I needed to make notes for them on what was in each item.

I made what you might normally use as a placecard to list each item and made a few extras for the rest of us in October's group :)

I cut my Pumpkin Pie cardstock base 3 1/4 x 6 1/2 and scored at 3 1/4.
Next, I cut a 3 1/8 square of Halloween Night DSP  in designs I liked.
Then I added a 2 3/4 square of whisper white for the writing.

Looking back, if I'd had more time I would have added a black layer on the DSP with more of a white background, but for a quick fix in the morning, I think these turned out pretty good.  Quick easy idea!  Swap the cardstock color or DSP and you'd have easy placeholders for your Thanksgiving or Christmas meals.  Enjoy!
