Candy Cane Treats

I know it's not Christmas time yet, but some of these projects are just too cute to wait and share :) 

Featured Stamp Set: Candy Cane Christmas

I used those fabulous glassine bags again!  I love this little card holder and gift card or treat holder.

For the Holder:  I started with a glassine bag, folded at 3 inches from the bottom. 

For the front:
Attach a strip of Candy Cane Lane DSP and add a 1/2 inch strip of early espresso cardstock.  Wrap around one piece of gold twine from the Bakers Twine Trio Pack and one piece of the Candy Cane Lane Bakers Twine and tie in a bow. 
Punch a 2 inch early espresso circle, a 1 3/4 inch circle of DSP and a 1 inch circle of whisper white. On the 1 inch circle stamp the speckles in crumb cake and early espresso ink and add the candy cane on top in real red ink.  It's hard see in this pic but I also added a little wink of Stella to the white stripes.

For the card cut a piece of Real Red cardstock 4 1/4 x 4 1/2 and then attach a piece of whisper white 4 1/4 x 4.  Stamp a strip of candy cane along the top in real red ink.  Finish it off with a sentiment in early espresso ink and a candy cane in real red.
