I saw an idea recently that used the Swirly Scribbles to create a Christmas wreath card. Well, I had to try it and since it is still near the 25th of July I figured Christmas in July still applies. I put on some Christmas music and got right to work.
The card base is the thick Whisper White cardstock with layers of Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler. Rather than stacking my layers in a row I thought I would try something a little different and offset them for a little different look. I used the Swirly Scribbles to cut out my Garden Green "wreath" and attached it to my card with adhesive. I then stamped "Happy Wonderful Christmas" from Wonderous Wreath stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink. I finished it off with a silver bow and it's done. It was pretty quick and easy. The only thing missing is a few holly berries, but I haven't quite decided on the best way to do it. I tried a few things but most of them did not work.
