Banner Surprise Part 2

If you didn't see yesterday's post, make sure you check it out.  These projects are from the Banner Surprise Paper Pumpkin Kit from the month of June.  Let me stop for a second...

I don't think I explained yesterday what Paper Pumpkin is.  It's a monthly paper crafting kit in the mail.  Sometimes it's cards, sometimes it's a 3D project, sometimes it's a mini album.  You never know.  Personally, I love the card kits.  This is my favorite so far in 2016!  Anyway, you sign up by the 10th of the month.  The cost is $19.95.  Your kit will arrive in the mail and then you get to have 30-60 minutes of pure creative bliss!  You don't even have to think!  Stampin' Up has done it all for you!  Check it out at mypaperpumpkin.com
When you sign up, be sure to add me as your demonstrator!  This helps me keep track and make sure you have the best customer service AND let's me send project ideas your way!

OK back to this super cute card!  Love it!  I actually did not come up with this design.  I have to send a huge thank you out to Rachel Tessman for this adorable idea!  I did tweak it a bit for me, but overall it's a CASE (Copy and Share Everything!)

Here's the whole project together.  So cute!  I forgot to put a gift card in it when I took my pic.  The front fold is actually a pocket for a gift card or money.  Let's take a closer look.

I took one of the Mint Macaron envelopes and scored it 3 inches from the bottom.  I folded that up and then took one of the cards from the kit and cut a piece 2 1/4 X 4 1/2.  I attached this piece to the front.  I then wrapped some of my white bakers twine around twice and tied a bow to help secure the pocket closed without using adhesive because I wanted to be able to use it as a pocket.  Next I punched a 2 inch circle of Mint Macaron.  I used one of the 1 3/4 inch whisper white circles from the kit and stamped in Tip Top Taupe, added a gold star sticker and then some of the sequin embellishments from the kit.  Now onto the card insert.

I actually chose to go with a post card design instead of a folding card.  It seemed silly to me to have a backward folded card in there.  So this is just a square of whisper white 4 1/4 X 4 1/4.  I stamped "Happy Birthday" in Tip Top Taupe using the Banner Surprise stamp set and added a few more sequins.

Voila.  A super cute card ready for a BYOP (buy your own present) gift!
