Wonderfully Wasted: Washi Stripes

It's Wonderfully Wasted Washi Tape Wednesday!

You'll have to excuse my photo.  It's a bit blurry.  But it gets the idea across.  I like this use of wasting Washi tape.  It makes a nice mask or frame in addition to creating a card and using up Washi tape.

This used a Whisper White Note card and envelope.  I believe Sara Douglass, Stampin' Up's CEO created this one.  She used Washi tape to create a diagonally stripe pattern.  Notice the stripes around her sentiment.  That space is a little wider than the rest.  She embellished with flowers and acrylic dots as well, but our focus here is on the Washi.  She also added the same Washi tape to her envelope.  It really added a nice pop to her overall design.  And used up a lot of Washi! ;)
