Glittering Thanks

I don't care what anyone says... Sometimes, you just have to glitter!  Yes, it's messy and you find it all over yourself and your house for days, but isn't it so worth it sometimes!  And this used the Sale-a-bration glittered washi tape so it didn't even make as much mess as normal glitter!

I was inspired by a card Tina Rappe made and I just had to try and recreate it.  Except... I didn't have all the same supplies she used so I had to improvise.  Here's what I came up with.

The card base is Whisper White with layers of only Basic Black and Whisper White.  The top Whisper White layer I covered with the glitter washi tape by alternating one strip at a time.  It was beautiful but too boring and needed a sentiment.  I used my favorite occasions stamp set Rose Wonder and stamped the frame with Archival Black ink, added "thank you" from the same set and cut it out using the Rose Garden thinlits.  It still wasn't enough.  I punched out 3 black flowers and 1 glitter flower (using glimmer paper) and attached them randomly.  I finished it off with a rhinestone.  Simple yet flashy.
