A few months ago my boys had an event at school called Jump Rope for Heart. It's a program through the American Heart Association where kids collect donations and learn about healthy hearts and spend an entire afternoon doing healthy physical activities.
I have two boys. Each one made a goal and chose a person to honor. My oldest chose children with heart disease and made a goal of $100. My youngest chose to honor the memory of "Candy Grandma" who passed away just under a year ago. His goal was $50.
Both boys completed the afternoon of activities and were able to turn in $200 each in donations for the Jump Rope for Heart. We FINALLY got around to making thank you cards to send out to those who donated.
This is the card I designed for them to make. We used 3 1/2 X 5 notecards and envelopes. For the design we used Apple of my Eye and Memories in the making. We stamped the swirled circles and thank you in Tempting turquoise and the heart in Real Red. Quick and easy. Not a lot of fuss. We were already quite late in getting these out to everyone.
Here is what came from it :) Love my boys. They are creative in their own way and were thrilled to stamp and make these quick, easy cards.
We finished 15 cards to send out thanking family and friends for their total of $400 in donations toward a GREAT cause!
