What I Love

This is Project 1 from the Stampin' Sister's Retreat.  We arrived Friday night and got right to it.  THis was our first class.  Loved it immediately!  

For this set of cards we got the Sale-a-brats on stamp set What I Love.  We used it along with the Perfect Pairings stamp set.  Each card is unique even though they all use the same combination of stamp sets.  I love the color combinations of each one. 

Let's Take a Closer Look...

This card feature's Whisteria Wonder.  It has a little texture in the background with the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder.  A little bit of ribbon and you're done.

This card feature's Melon Mambo.  Pretty sweet and simple here.  A piece of ribbon, a layer of rectangles, a layer of circles.  Each flower is a different shade of the color.  We inked and stamped, stamped, stamped.

This card features Rich Razzleberry.  This one is cool.  We stamped the flowers along the edge and then cut the bottom before attaching it to the base.  Gives a very nice effect.  Add a quick ribbon and a greeting.  The coloring on this one is done using a blender pen.

The card color choice here is Watermelon Wonder.  Another quick and easy card.  We stamped one on the card and 2 were fussy cut and placed on top of the ribbon.  This ribbon is my favorite!

The card base of this card is Daffodil Delight.  The top background has texture from the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. We've added banners and layers of Deco Label Framelits.  Love the tiny flowers on this :). And we took the time to add a little black center to each one.

The final card base is Bermuda Bay with Old Olive.  We stamped using both colors and did a little fussy cutting.  We added a piece of Bermuda Bay Ribbon.  To finish it off we punched 2 corners with the Curvy Corner Trio Punch.

This set would be perfect to wrap with a ribbon and give as a gift.  Or put inside a nice card box and give as a gift.  It's all ready to go and covers so many card giving reasons.
